ADMISSION ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility For First Year Admission UG :

B.Sc.:

  • Candidate who has passed the two years higher secondary certificate (10 + 2) examination of Gujarat state or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, in respective stream with a good academic record shall be eligible for admission, subject to such other conditions prescribed by the Saurashtra University from time to time.

Lateral Entry:

  • As per Saurashtra University rules & regulations lateral entry admission direct to second year B. Sc. for candidates having passed Diploma in Engineering or Pharmacy is given. Candidate has to obtain PROVISIONAL ELIGIBILITY certificate from Saurashtra University.

Admission Procedure:

  • Admission procedure is based on norms of Saurashtra University & State Government. It starts soon after the declaration of the H.S.C./Degree exam results of Gujarat Higher Secondary Board/ Saurashtra University.
  • Application forms and prospectus can be obtained from the college during office hours. The duly filled application form is to be sent or submitted to the Principal within stipulated time. Two attested photo copies of the following documents are to be attached with duly filled application form.
    1. Leaving certificate of school or N.O.C. of college last attended.
    2. S.S.C. mark sheet.
    3. H.S.C./ Degree or Equivalent mark sheet.
    4. H.S.C./ Degree attempt certificate.
    5. Provisional eligibility certificate from Saurashtra University in the case of other board/university candidates.
    6. Certificate issued by competent authority in case of reserve category candidates.(SC/ST/OBC/SEBC/EWS)
    7. Five passport size photographs.
  • A candidate has to fill enrollment form at the time of payment of admission fees and should produce the original documents listed above.
  • The benefit of reservation shall be given to candidate from reserve category at the first year level admission only.

  • Allotment of subject group at special subject at T.Y. level will be on the basis of core subject & merit.

  • All the admissions are subject to the approval of Saurashtra University.

Concessions:

  • The railway, state transport and city bus concessions are granted to the regular full time students of the college as per Government rules. The details for availing concessions can be made through college office.
