Greetings and welcome to Navyug Mahila Science College
Until Morbi city became a district, there was no separate science college for girls in Morbi, due to which the girls had to go to Rajkot and facing lots of difficulties. Mr. P. D. Kanjiya Saheb, a well-known educationist of Morbi and President of Shree Kalavardhan Education Trust, took up the task of solving this problem of girls and in the year 2014, Navyug Mahila Science College established by him. This is the first science college for girls in Morbi and it has affiliation to Saurashtra University.
A large campus of the college is situated in a natural and picturesque environment 5 km away from Morbi city. Transportation facility is provided by more than 50 buses within 40 km radius of Morbi and surrounding areas. The college building has modern theatre style class rooms with white marker boards, laboratories for all subjects equipped with advanced and modern equipments, AC computer lab, spacious canteen with TV and audio system, library, AC auditorium with a capacity of 500 students equipped with audio visual, large play ground for sports. Here, we provide quality education by experienced and qualified faculties. We offer subjects like Chemistry, Microbiology, Maths and Botany for specialisation.
Here, we arrange informative seminars by educational experts, saints, motivational speakers, abstract thinkers, writers for the purpose of overall development of students. During the academic year, activities like elocution, essay, drawing, general knowledge quiz, Antakshari, Mahendi, talent show, sports festival are conducted. Parichay Pravas, Van Bhojan, interstate tours, industrial tours are organized under the direct guidance of Kanjiya Saheb, which creates permanent memories in students' lives.
Navyug Mahila Science College is the only college in Morbi district which consistently win in Khelmahakumbh, Yuvagyanotsav and district level government and nongovernment functions.
After completion of B.Sc., there are some higher education courses like M.Sc., D.M.L.T, B.Ed., LL.B., etc. are also offered. Navyug Group of Education having a strength of 5000 students. A bright job opportunity with high salary is offered in the group of institution.
